LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Attendees came from around the county, and this weekend the biggest electronic music party in America is in Las Vegas.

The Electric Daisy Carnival is a three-day event that will host in the neighborhood of 300,000 partiers.

Music fans decorated their cars, heads and much of their bodies for the trip to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, home of the festival.

"EDC is the biggest, baddest in the West!" exclaimed concertgoer Chris Seguara, who drove in from San Diego.

"You know what? We're going to go crazy!" added another festivalgoer, Ty Tiaivivit.

The non-stop dance party and multimedia spectacle first came to Las Vegas last year and is now North America's largest electronic music festival.

"It's definitely something you have to experience," said Dorian Deptuch, who also traveled from San Diego. "It's something really cool and just being here with everyone - it really connects people."

Partygoers said much of the experience revolves around friendship.

"Make friends. People come from all over the place. People come from everywhere to party at one spot," said attendee Rebecca Montenegro.

Festival security and Metro police are working hard to keep everyone safe. It will be a warm weekend and there will be plenty of water to go around. There's a medical team inside in case people get hurt or indulge a bit too much.
