2 hurt in wreck east of Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Two people were hurt after a multiple vehicle collision east of the Las Vegas Strip Friday.

Clark County Fire and Rescue reported the wreck on westbound Tropicana Avenue near Koval Lane just after 11:30 a.m. Friday.

No word on what exactly led to the accident.

Two people were transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Westbound lanes of Tropicana were blocked for some time, backing up traffic for at least a mile.
