LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
June 8 is World Oceans Day. To help raise awareness about our ocean wildlife, you can check out two MGM Resorts properties on Friday.
Guests of Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage and the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay can participate in fun activities.
At The Mirage, you can take on the globe toss, reading corner, matching water fun facts and an animal blubber simulation.
All activities will take place in the gift shop starting at 11:30 a.m.
Admission is $19.95 for adults; $14.95 for children (4 - 12); Children three years old and younger are free.
At Mandalay Bay, activities include children's art projects, live dive demonstrations and artwork featuring renowned marine artist Wyland.
You can also spend the day with green sea turtles, sawfish and other various sea creatures.
The fun starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m.
Admission is $18 for adults; $12 for children (5 - 12); Children four years old and younger are free.
