ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA/CNN) -
Parents at a school district in Manitoba, Canada are furious after learning about a dangerous practical joke played on two students.
Karen Eyolfson's 13-year-old son Cole went to Walter Whyte School in Grand Marais.
After an incident on a school run commute trip on May 25, Eyolfson took her son out of the school.
She said Cole and one of his classmates were offered chocolate covered almonds by a chaperone on the trip.
"So he dug into the bag and bit into the almond, and when he bit into the almond he heard someone say 'You just ate moose Sh**, and everyone started laughing, said Eyolfson.
Five adults also laughed at the incident.
Out of those five adults, Eyolfson says one was a teacher, one was a guidance counselor and the other was a school principal.
Since the incident happened, Cole was put on antibiotics by his family doctor due to concerns of bacteria in the feces and in the lake water Cole used to wash his mouth out.
"How then can the kids return to the school having the same leadership, the same counselor, the same homeroom teacher. If somebody is bullying them about the issue, then who are they going to go to, the ones that actually did the bullying?" said Eyolfson.
One June 19, there will be a school board meeting and parents will be able to make a presentation about this incident.
