Caesars announces Shania Twain singing contest

Posted: Updated:
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Shania Twain fans will have an opportunity to win tickets to see the country sensation perform at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in December.

The winner will also get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to perform on their own for a week in a local Caesars Entertainment venue.

Fans can audition at the Total rewards Booth at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville from June 7-10, or online via video submission.

Hopefuls are required to sing their favorite Shania Twain song at the audition and in their video submissions.

Web entries can be submitted between June 18 and July 15 at www.Facebook.com/CaesarsPalace.

A panel of judges and Shania's management team will review all audition entries and select the winner.

The lucky fan will get a three-night stay at Caesars Palace, a $200 food credit, two tickets to Shania: Still the One, and the opportunity to perform on the Las Vegas Strip.

The public will also be able to view and vote on all online entries Aug. 1 through 8 to pick the fans' choice, who will win a two-night stay at Caesars Palace, two tickets to Shania: Still the One, and a $100 food credit.

Both winners will be announced by Aug. 10.

The Total Rewards booth will also give guests the chance to win prize packages at Caesars Entertainment properties in Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, Tunica, New Orleans and Las Vegas.
