NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
A North Las Vegas woman who was severely burned when the apartment she lived in caught fire has died.
North Las Vegas fire announced the woman's death Monday.
She was hospitalized May 2 after a fire at the Salvation Army Silvercrest Apartments in the 2800 block of Equador Avenue.
Crews made their way into an apartment which was full of smoke.
The woman inside the apartment sustained burns on 80 percent of her body and was transported to University Medical Center.
NLVFD said she died just after 8:30 a.m. Monday.
The cause of the fire was not immediately disclosed.
