LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
High winds forecasted for Monday afternoon have pushed Clark County officials to issued an air quality advisory for dust.
The advisory is expected to last through Tuesday morning.
FOX5 meteorologist Ted Pretty said south winds should increase to 25 miles per hour by 5 p.m. Monday. He said gusts of at least 40 miles per hour are expected.
The high winds pushed the county's Department of Air Quality to issue the dust advisory.
Officials said unhealthy levels of dust are possible, and people with chronic respiratory conditions and those working outdoors are at risk.
