During the week-long Blitz Build, Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas will build a new house from the ground up in just five days for a family in need.
As part of Blitz Build, this is only one of 250 homes that will be built simultaneously across the country during the week of June 4.
The house is located at 910 Miler Avenue in Las Vegas, and the land was donated by the City of Las Vegas as part of the neighborhood revitalization of the Vegas Heights community.
Building will take place 24 hours a day, and the volunteers will be divided into three eight-hour shifts.
More than 250 volunteers will work on the project, along with the homeowners.
The Habitat homeowners will help build their homes with "sweat equity," and pay an interest-free, low payment mortgage.
On the final day, the family will be presented with the keys to their new home at a Dedication Celebration on Friday at 6 p.m.
