LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Four men killed in a small plane crash in Utah's Zion National Park were identified Friday as employees of Maverick Helicopters in Las Vegas.

The company released a statement stating it was "deeply saddened" by Wednesday's crash and, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of those lost."

Authorities in Kane County, Utah, identified the victims as:

• 31-year-old Joshua Stubblefield, the pilot

• 44-year-old Chris Spiru

• 32-year-old Paul Andrews

• 45-year-old Todd Stuntzner

The plane, a single-engine Cirrus SR20, left North Las Vegas at about 10 a.m. Tuesday and was headed to Bryce Canyon, according to Ian Gregor, public affairs manager for the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Kane County Sheriff's Office said recovery teams reached the wreckage early Wednesday morning on a ridge in a remote, mountainous area.

The plane is owned by Hunt Aviation of Las Vegas and was leased to Elite Training and Management.
