LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Clark County is accepting applications for a seat on its Citizens Review Board, a panel tasked with handling citizen complaints and Internal Affairs investigations against Las Vegas Metro police officers.
Applications for the voluntary, unpaid position must be received by June 30. The term runs from Jan. 1, 2013 to Jan. 4 2016.
The Citizens Review Board is made up of 25 people. A background in law enforcement or criminal law is not required, but members cannot have any felony convictions.
Elected officials and members of law enforcement are also prohibited from serving on the board.
