Nevada firefighters are getting some federal help fighting the TRE fire in Douglas County.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) authorized the use of federal funds in battling the wildfire.
The FEMA funding will reimburse 75 percent of the eligible firefighting costs under an approved grant for controlling the fire.
Some of those costs include expenses for field camps, equipment use, tools, and supplies.
The TRE fire started about 50 miles south of Reno.
No injuries were reported.
