LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas show producer David Saxe is fighting back against the women suing him for invasion of privacy. He will pay $1 million to the five instructors of his Stripper 101 class if they can pass a lie detector test.

Saxe told FOX5 he is innocent of the claim that he used surveillance cameras to record private activities, and he wants to clear his name now rather than waiting for his day in court.

"Forget money right now. I just care about my reputation," he said.

Stripper 101 is a class that teaches students exotic dance moves. A 19-page lawsuit filed in March claims that Saxe and others recorded video of instructors and students in "various stages of dress and undress and/or performing very private matters."

Saxe told FOX5 that cameras were installed in the classroom for security purposes only, and in the days since the lawsuit went public, it has made him sick.

"I mean, give me a break... There's things that just hurt you personally, and you can't tolerate it. I'm not tolerating it," said Saxe.

To that end, he is issuing a challenge to the five women listed as plaintiffs in the lawsuit.

"Take a lie detector test. If you pass, great. I'll even give you $1 million."

If they fail, Saxe wants them to pay $500,000, which would be donated to a charity that helps businesses fight against extortion and malicious prosecution.

FOX 5 has made repeated attempts to speak with Eva Garcia-Mendoza, the attorney who filed the lawsuit, but our calls were not returned.

The lawsuit claims that Saxe and a list of other defendants engaged in invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, civil conspiracy and negligence.

Saxe claimed his offer is not a publicity stunt and he doesn't believe his accusers will accept.

"They're not going to accept it because they're lying," he said.

When asked why he would bother with a presumably futile offer, Saxe responded, "You know, part of it was to prove they're lying. It could've been $10,000, $100,000, $1 million, a $100 million... they're not going to take it."

Saxe said he is already losing business because of the allegations. FOX5 asked to see the classroom in question, but Saxe's attorney advised him against that.

The lawsuit against Saxe and the other defendants seeks compensation for a number of damages including pain and distress, along with punitive damages in excess of $50,000.
