Traffic to and from McCarrran Airport in the overnight hours will be affected in the coming weeks to accommodate work on the Airport Connector Tunnel and signs along Paradise Road.
Beginning Monday, May 28, the northbound Airport Connector Tunnel will have lane restrictions in place between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night through June 1.
On Monday, June 4, work on the tunnel will occur on the southbound portion of the tunnel during the same hours through June 8.
Paradise Road will be closed just south of Tropicana Ave. for four hours each night beginning Tuesday, June 5 and concluding June 7.
These closures are needed to remove an old overhead sign and install a new one in advance of Terminal 3's opening in June.
Incoming traffic is encouraged to use the Airport Connector Tunnel. Traffic approaching from Tropicana will be detoured east to southbound Maryland Parkway, and then rerouted toward the airport using westbound Russell Road.
