Metro police are looking for a man who threw a cup of hot liquid at a convenience store clerk before stealing cash.

Police say that on Wednesday the suspect entered a business on the 3900 block of Tenaya Way, obtained a hot beverage and threw the liquid at the clerk. The man then stole cash and fled. The clerk was left with severe burns.

The suspect is described as between 18 and 25 years old, 5'10", and between 160 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black beanie, black hooded sweatshirt with white lining, orange shirt and blue jeans.
