LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A gravel spill on northbound U.S. 95 between Washington Avenue and Lake Mead Boulevard shut down a lanes of the freeway Friday.
Nevada Highway Patrol reported the spill just before 1:30 p.m.
NHP said a lane of traffic was open and vehicles were backed up to Decatur Boulevard.
Authorities hope to reopen the freeway by 4 p.m. just before the afternoon rush.
