Coroner ID’s teen struck, killed by hit-and-run driver

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Clark County Coroner's Office on Friday identified a boy struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver as 17-year-old Bryan Navarro of Las Vegas.

Navarro was jaywalking on Nellis Boulevard near Flamingo Road just after 11 p.m. Tuesday when he was hit by a 1997 Nissan Altima, according to Metro police.

The Nissan drove off, and Navarro was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later arrested and charged 59-year-old Tomas Del-Angel with drunken driving.
