LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Police Memorial Park is set to honor three fallen southern Nevada officers Thursday by etching their names at the park's memorial wall.
Las Vegas Metro police said the three names include U.S. Drug Enforcement Special Agent Don Cleo Ware; Nevada Department of Corrections Officer Tracy Hardin; and Clark County Sheriff's Deputy Jack London.
The names will be honored in the annual Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony set for 6 p.m. at the park on 3250 Metro Academy Way.
Agent Ware died in 2004; Officer Hardin died in January; Deputy London died in May 1943.
The park currently has 31 names etched in honor of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. Those officers include those from Henderson police, North Las Vegas police, Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Marshal Service and Nye County Sheriff's Office.
A re-dedication of the Law Enforcement Memorial Rock will also be planned. The rock was moved from its former home at the old Las Vegas City Hall facility.
