LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A man convicted in the shooting death of another man at a northwest Las Vegas apartment complex last year was sentenced to life in prison this week.
Clark County Court officials said Donnell Pugh was found guilty on second degree murder and attempted murder charges in a Jan. 2011 shooting.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, Pugh was the lone suspect in the shooting that killed a man and injured a woman at the Evergreen Apartments in the 5400 block of W. Cheyenne.
Pugh had engaged in an argument with the couple before opening fire, police said.
He was on the run until authorities in Los Angeles arrested him a few days after the shooting.
Court officials said Pugh is eligible for parole after 10 years in prison.
