North Las Vegas police have obtained arrest warrants and are actively searching for a suspect in a double murder back on Apr. 26.
Jose Alejandro Gonzales, known as "Smokey," is wanted for an attack on Webster Street near Civic Center Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard that left two men dead and two women with serious gunshot injures.
Gonzales, who has also used the name Jose Diaz, is from Mission Viejo, CA and still has family in the area. It is believed he was living in Las Vegas when the murders occurred.
Gonzales, 22, is a convicted felon for evading a police officer and assault with a deadly weapon. He is easily identifiable by his tattoos, including one on his chest that reads, "Forgive me mother for my crazy life" and another on the back of his neck that reads "OC."
Gonzales is 5'10" and about 160 pounds with a bald or shaved hear and brown eyes. He may be driving a gray Dodge Intrepid.
