2 officers, others injured in 5-car crash

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Two Las Vegas Metro police officers and two others have been hospitalized following a five-car accident on Russell Road near Rogers Street.

Police tell FOX5 a vehicle hit a Metro patrol car, setting off a chain reaction of collisions.

The two officers were taken to University Medical Center for treatment. Another victim was taken to Spring Valley Hospital. The fourth victim has been taken to an undisclosed hospital.

There is no word yet on the severity of the injuries.
