LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Las Vegas Metro police said a man was jaywalking on a street near downtown when he was struck by a vehicle late Tuesday night.
Police reported the collision on Martin Luther King Boulevard, north of Bonanza Road, about 11:40 p.m.
According to officers, 44-year-old Richard Chinn was crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a 2004 Toyota Corolla driven by Reynaldo Tan, 66.
Chinn was transported to University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Police said Tan stayed on the scene following the collision.
Police are looking into what caused the collision.
