LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Police said an armed bandit was scared off by a customer in a store during a robbery.
Las Vegas Metro police said the man described as a white male with sandy blond hair tried holding up a business near Jones Boulevard and Smoke Ranch Road.
The suspect demanded money from the clerk while producing a firearm before fleeing.
Police said the customer inside the business did not know the robbery was taking place.
The suspect was also described as 24 to 34-year old man. He appeared to be 5'10" and 180 pounds.
Detectives believe he frequents the Jones and Smoke Ranch area.
