Actor, filmmaker and writer, Morgan Shaw-Fox is set to perform in a Turning the Wheel production, entitled I Knew That Once. The dance and theater performance is scheduled for early June.

Morgan Shaw-Fox, creative executive and actor with the Watchword Film Collective, recently announced his plans to perform in Turning the Wheel’s upcoming show, I Knew That Once.
Turning the Wheel is an inter-generational dance and theater company committed to the collaborative creation of works of art that are rooted in and restorative for the communities in which the group performs and teaches.
“Turning the Wheel is dedicated to making creative expression and art accessible to people of all ages, experience and cultural and socio-economic backgrounds,” said Morgan Shaw-Fox, 25, a Los Angeles resident.
Morgan Shaw-Fox is a performer and facilitator with the Turning the Wheel organization, he first began working for the non-profit organization in 2002.
“Imagine the effect we have on those we work with, we bring a sense of joy and self-confidence to schools, communities, and families,” Morgan Shaw-Fox said.
I Knew that Once first premiered in Boulder, Colorado in October and will be performed in Missoula, MT on June 1, 2, 3 in the Masquer Theatre on the University of Montana Campus.
Morgan Shaw-Fox and 40 others are scheduled to perform in the lively show. The performance weaves together the stories of the dancers and explores ways of expressing and connecting in contemporary times.
“The show reminds us just how beautiful life is and how we are all connected,” Morgan Shaw-Fox said. “We help people learn to better express themselves.”
The cast includes performers of all ages and backgrounds, in addition, some of the performers have varied mental and physical challenges. Morgan Shaw-Fox will travel with the show to five cities over the course of the next two and a half years.
Morgan Shaw-Fox, originally from Boulder, Colorado, moved to Los Angeles to study acting at Lewis & Clark College where he graduated with a Bachelor degree in theater. Recently he and four other young Los Angeles filmmakers launched the Watchword Film Collective. The group works to produce cutting-edge media that is committed to representing the artist’s true style on a budget. Part of their recent short films include, Imprecision of Time, Food Play, Ephemory and Have You Seen My Phone?
Morgan Shaw-Fox is currently preparing for the Turning the Wheel performance as well as working to promote his Film Collective.
“I’m a pretty busy guy, but it’s all part of this business,” Morgan Shaw-Fox said.

Boulder, Colorado native, Morgan Shaw-Fox, 25, is an actor, filmmaker, producer and writer. Morgan Shaw-Fox currently resides in Los Angeles and studies improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. He graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a Bachelor degree in theater. Morgan Shaw-Fox has been performing on stage since he was four years old. In the past Morgan Shaw-Fox has performed in many plays such as Urine Town, Tartuff, Stop Kiss, The Importance of Being Earnest, West Side Story and others.
