Vegas man hospitalized following home invasion

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A Las Vegas man was rushed to University Medical Center on Monday after he was struck in the head with a pipe during a home invasion on the valley's southwest side.

The attack happened in a home on Camero Avenue, near Buffalo Drive and Wigwam Avenue, according to Metro police.

Police said the victim knew his attacker, who was described as a white man in his 40s.

The suspect escaped in a gray or silver Lincoln Town Car, according to police. The vehicle's license plate number is 564-FSU.
