Coroner ID’s driver killed when car struck pole

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A man who suffered fatal injuries after steering his Nissan Sentra into a light pole has been identified as 40-year-old Joemarie Regalado of Las Vegas.

Regalado died at Sunrise Hospital Thursday following the accident on Desert Inn Road near Cabana Drive.

The Clark County Coroner's Office has not identified the cause of death. Metro police believed Regalado may have suffered a medical episode before the crash.
