Boy on bike struck by truck in northwest Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police said a boy on a bike was struck by a truck in northwest Las Vegas Monday morning.

Las Vegas Metro police reported the collision near Decatur Boulevard and Vegas Drive about 6:30 a.m.

The bicyclist was transported to University Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Officers did not disclose where the boy was hit or what lead to the accident.

Police did not announce any road closures.
