LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Canines across Clark County are expected to converge on Desert Breeze Park Saturday for this year's Strut Your Mutt event.
Organizers aimed to bring dogs and dog lovers together as part of a community mixing event.
Some of the activities featured in the event include canine performances, contests and crafts, all geared toward the area's pooches.
Organizers said the theme of the event is "Take a Bite Out of Crime." Members of the Las Vegas Metro police K-9 unit will be on hand as well.
Strut Your Mutt is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park located at 8275 W. Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas.
Cost of admission is $2 but a dog product donation will get you in for free.
Raffles will take place every hour with prizes that include a free six-week training class provided by Vegas Valley Dog Obedience.
