Suicidal man forces road closure in northwest valley

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police closed a portion of Rainbow Boulevard in the northwest valley on Friday as they negotiated with a suicidal man.

The man refused to leave a property on Alpine Brooks Avenue, near Rainbow and Tropical Parkway.

Officers closed Rainbow in both directions between Tropical Parkway and Ambiance Lane.
