LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Former NFL pro Junior Seau, who played most of his career with the San Diego Chargers, was found dead Wednesday at his home in California, authorities said.
Oceanside, Calif. police confirmed Seau's death Wednesday morning. Police, though, did not confirm earlier reports that Seau died of a self-inflicted gunshot.
Police responded to reports of shooting at the home north of San Diego about 10 a.m.
The North County Times said a housekeeper found Seau shot inside the home.
Seau played 20 seasons in the league, his last with the New England Patriots in 2009.
