Boy struck by vehicle while crossing Vegas street

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A teenage boy was rushed to Sunrise Hospital on Monday morning after he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Mountain Vista Street and Tropicana Avenue.

The boy's injuries were not immediately known. Police said the driver may have struck him while he walked on a sidewalk.

Authorities closed a section of Mountain Vista following the accident but have since reopened it.
