LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Alright you primitive screwheads, listen up… Ashley J. Williams is bringing his boomstick back to Las Vegas.
Downtown's Plaza Hotel and Casino will host "Evil Dead: The Musical" at its 100-seat Insurgo Theater this summer.
The stage production based on the horror film franchise first debuted in Las Vegas last October with a successful run at the Onyx Theatre.
Producers are bringing back star Ben Stobber as the hero, Ash, along with the show's director, Sirc Michaels, for the new shows.
"Evil Dead: The Musical" combines elements from the three "Evil Dead" films and features more than 15 original songs. The show has been praised for its interactive elements, including a fake blood "splatter zone" at the front of the stage.
A schedule for the summer shows hasn't been released.
