LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A malfunctioning air conditioning system has forced Las Vegas High School to release students earlier than normal Tuesday morning.
Clark County School District said air conditioning was out through the majority of the school, leading to the cancellation of classes.
Students were scheduled to be released about 10:45 a.m. The District, though, said there will be no early out for students who do not ride school buses.
CCSD said school maintenance crews were called to fix the issue, and administrators expected to resume classes at normal hours on Wednesday.
No injuries were reported.
FOX5 meteorologist Ted Pretty forecasted Tuesday's high temperature in Las Vegas at 90 degrees.
