LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A child suffered minor injuries Tuesday after being struck by a pickup truck in northwest Las Vegas, according to Metro police.
The accident happened just before 7:30 a.m. at Tenaya Way and Alexander Road. It's unknown if the child -- a boy between 9 and 10 years old -- was in a crosswalk.
He was taken to Mountain View Hospital, police said.
The driver of the pickup has not been charged, and the accident remains under investigation.
