1 hospitalized in Vegas scooter collision

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A person on scooter was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in east Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Metro police reported the collision near Boulder Highway and Russell Road about 9 a.m.

Police did not specify what led to the accident.

The scooter operator was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

Authorities did not indicate any road closures as a result of the incident.
