Vegas ranked among most 'beauty-obsessed' cities

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Just how vain are Las Vegans? Turns out not as vain, or beauty obsessed, as people in Fresno, Calif.

Compiling data provided by FourSquare, InStyle put together a list of America's most beauty-obsessed cities, and the results may surprise you.

The top two cities – believe it or not –were the aforementioned Fresno and Lubbock, Tex. Las Vegas ranked fifth.

The social media giant tracked check-ins at establishments such as salons and other beauty-oriented stores. Fresno has five beauty schools in addition to store such as Sephora and Ulta.

Other cities to make the list include Atlantic City, NJ; San Francisco; New York and Houston.
