The "Everyone Gives Campaign" made a huge donation to the Nevada SPCA today.
Everyone Gives raised a total of more than $20,000 for the local nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter.
During an eight-day giving event, participants donated to the charity via the Everyone Gives website, and then invited friends on their social networks to do the same.
Travel Channel's Zak Bagans, a board member of the Nevada SPCA, and his social network made the biggest contribution.
Bagan's donation tree included 515 distinct members from 152 cities.
In addition to what was raised in the giving event, Everyone Gives presented the Nevada SPCA with a check for $10,000 Friday morning.
Everyone Gives is a community-based organization that enables givers to donate directly to several different charities of their choice.
