Conference focusing on school bullying prevention - FOX5 Vegas - KVVU

A conference set to begin Wednesday is focusing on school bullying and violence and its prevention.
"Standing Up To Bullying" was organized by Building Strong Families National Seminars in response to the rise of this type of harassment in schools.
Organizers said they designed the conference to empower and equip school administrators, educators, social workers, counselors, psychologists, and other professionals who work with children with skills and tools designed to recognize, minimize or eradicate school bullying and violence.
The conference will be held at Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas-Henderson located at 421 Astaire Drive, in Henderson, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again at 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The strategies, techniques, and interventions cited in the conference equally spans elementary through high school students.
