LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Rapper and reality television star Flavor Flav will welcome diners with his trademark "Yeah, Boy!" at Thursday's opening of his new Las Vegas restaurant.

House of Flavor Take Out, on Maryland Parkway near Desert Inn Road, is described as a "celebrity-centric Las Vegas take out restaurant" specializing in soul food, with a menu that features assorted fried dishes and "Flavor Flav's signature red velvet waffle."

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held 6:30 p.m.

Flav, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., opened the ill-fated Flavor Flav's Fried Chicken in Iowa last year, but disagreements between the rapper and his partner, Nick Cimino, led to the restaurant's closing after 13 weeks.

A spokesperson for House of Flavor said the new venture is entirely owned and operated by Flav.

Don't miss Flavor Flav's appearance on MORE Thursday at 9 a.m.
