NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
The wife of a North Las Vegas man accused of posing as a doctor, then medicating and sexual assaulting patients, told FOX5 she believes her husband is guilty.
Francisca Ruan says her husband, Juan Alberto Ruan-Rivera, physically abused her and that one of the sexual assault victims is a 5-year-old relative.
She claimed Ruan-Rivera attacked her at the couple's North Las Vegas home earlier this month.
"He'd take my head and with his hand take my hair and push me like this and take my hair in his hands a lot," she said. "And he'd throw me in the walls and on the floor."
After being given drugs to make the victims drowsy, police said, Ruan-Rivera committed unspecified acts of sexual assault.
"It's not fair, it's not good. Why did he destroy lives? Why?" Francisca Ruan told FOX5.
Police did not confirm Ruan's claim that her grandson was the 5-year-old victim, but said a 51-year-old North Las Vega woman and a 27-year-old woman from Victorville, CA were also assaulted.
Anyone with information about Ruan-Rivera is asked to call Crimestoppers at -702-385-5555.
