PUC reviewing smart meter investigation

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Public outcry concerning NV Energy's smart meters has the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) reviewing findings from an investigation the commission recently completed.

The findings will be discussed during a meeting at the commission's Carson City office on Feb. 29. It will be videoconferenced to the Las Vegas office at 9075 W. Diablo Drive, Suite 250.

Additionally, the findings of the report will be made available on the commission's website after being filed on Thursday, Feb. 23

Information regarding the commission's investigation, including NV Energy's opt-out proposals, is available at puc.nv.gov.

The information is listed under Docket 11-10007. From the left navigation bar on the home page, select "Docket info," followed by "All Dockets." You then must scroll to Docket number 11-10007 and click "View."
