Dave Lawrence - FOX5 Vegas - KVVU

Dave Lawrence made the move from Kansas City, Missouri to join FOX5 in September 2011.

Dave was born and raised in Kansas City and is a huge Chiefs, Royals and Kansas Jayhawks fan. He graduated from Park University in Parkville, Missouri.

He figured he would save money by moving to Las Vegas instead of constantly traveling here.

Dave got his start in radio in high school and spent more than 16 years in Kansas City radio before making the move to television… although he says many of his friends jokingly tell him he's ‘got a face for radio.'

He spent those radio years hosting morning shows until he joined the morning team as anchor at WIBW in Topeka.

He spent 5 years there and was also a reporter for KCTV5 in Kansas City.

In addition to a life in media Dave has also been a Financial Advisor, a poker dealer and a traffic reporter.

In his spare time Dave enjoys playing basketball, softball, or anything fun in the outdoors…and catching up on sleep.
