UNLV summit hopes to inspire young voters

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

University of Nevada, Las Vegas will host the Greater Together Summit Wednesday in hopes of inspiring young Americans to get involved in the 2012 campaign season.

Actor Kal Penn, known for his work on the TV series "House" and the "Harold and Kumar" films, will be a special guest speaker at this event.

Penn formerly served as Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement under President Barack Obama.

The summit starts at 5:30 PM at UNLV's Science and Engineering Building.
