LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Authorities in Pahrump said a man was caught packing and taking items from a home that was heading into foreclosure.
According to the Nye County Sheriff's office, Michael Silveria was found Monday at a home that was in the process of foreclosure.
Deputies had been called to the home after reports of a suspected burglary in progress.
Deputies found Silveria with items that belonged to the home, which he did not own.
According to investigators, Silveria has family in the business of preserving bank properties during foreclosure proceedings. Silveria was on the property without the family or bank's permission.
The 31-year-old was booked into the Nye County Detention Center on burglary, larceny and possession of stolen property charges.
