Pedestrian struck by minivan

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police say a man in his mid-sixties was struck by a minivan on Lamont Street near Nellis Boulevard and Craig Road just after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Police believe the man was near a crosswalk when he was struck. His head hit the minivan's windshield.

The victim is listed in serious condition at University Medical Center.
