Several file for Vegas City Council special election

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Those looking to fill the Las Vegas City Council seat vacated by Steve Wolfson have one more day to file.

Wolfson was sworn in Tuesday as the new Clark County District Attorney.

As of Tuesday afternoon, those who filed their candidacy for the March 20 special election are:

Bob Beers
Roberta Boyers
Bruce L. Gale
Sherese Holmes
F. Raja
Anthony L. Ruggiero
Ric Truesdell

The City Clerk's office will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday at the new Las Vegas City Hall on Main Street between Lewis and Clark avenues.
