LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Traffic on U.S. 95 Highway will be diverted through the Cheyenne Avenue off ramps and back onto U.S. 95 beginning Friday night, Nevada Department of Transportation said.
The detour will be in effect until Monday, Feb. 27 at 5 a.m.
To accommodate the detour, access across the Cheyenne overpass will be restricted beginning at 9 p.m. Friday.
The closure is for a bridge widening, which is part of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements project. The $68 million project is scheduled to be completed this summer.
