Teen victim in North Las Vegas slaying identified

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

A young man killed in a Feb. 15 double shooting has been identified as 18-year-old Frank Wiest of North Las Vegas.

The Clark County Coroner's Office said Wiest was shot in the head at close range. He was found alongside another gunshot victim at a home on Splinter Rock Way near Tropical Parkway.

The second victim was rushed to University Medical Center in critical condition. He has not been identified.

Police later charged 33-year-old Mario Camacho with murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, coercion and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
