LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
An Amber Alert remained in effect Monday morning as authorities searched for an Idaho woman accused of abducting her three children from their foster home.
Police said the mother's vehicle was last seen in the Tonopah area Sunday afternoon, and they suspect she was driving to Las Vegas.
Bertha Guerrero-Lopez, 35, is driving a 1986 gray Pontiac 6000 sedan with Nevada license plate No. 389 XPR. A felony arrest warrant has now been issued for Guerrero-Lopez.
Her children, 9-year-old Ubaldo, 7-year-old Mirella and 5-year-old Esmerelda, were visiting with their mother Friday and were supposed to be returned to their foster home at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Guerrero-Lopez has a history of drug use, according to police.
More information about the children, including the clothes they were wearing when last seen, is posted on Nevada's Amber Alert website.
