
A three-year old was found face down in a pool near a northwest valley home at around 1:20 p.m. Saturday.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred at a home located at 1201 Gallery Shores Drive.
Police say the family was having a get together when a 3-year-old snuck through a sliding glass door that was left cracked open.
Officials said that the victim's family checked outside when they noticed the toddler was missing and found the child floating face down in the pool.
Officials report that the toddler was breathing after a family member performed CPR.
Police say medical personnel arrived and transported the toddler to Summerlin Hospital.
The toddler is in stable condition.
