Two dead in traffic collision

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a three vehicle collision at around 10:45 a.m. Saturday.

The accident occurred on South Martin Luther King Boulevard and Symphony Park Avenue.

According to officials, the preliminary investigation shows that a car turned in front of another vehicle, which caused a collision.

Officials said two people were inside the car that was at fault for the collision.

Officials report that one person died at the scene and the other was transported to University Medical Center, where the victim was later pronounced dead.

According to officials, the victims inside the vehicle that was struck, as well as those inside the third vehicle that was hit, did not suffer life threatening injuries.

This incident remains under investigation.
